WELCOME
Hi there! I'm Katherine, the Owner of Katherine Bolt Consulting. I have 9 years of project management experience across multiple industries and I'm excited to share my journey with you through this blog and small business. I hope you leave this site with more information and knowledge than you arrived with and feel empowered to take action!
I've always loved organization—to-do lists, stationary, pens, everything! I have way more notebooks than I could ever need for the next five years, and I'll still buy more tomorrow if they have cute covers.
I never thought of tying my love for organization to a career. I went to school for Public Health in hopes of working in Emergency Preparedness. My first job as a Project Coordinator at a healthcare nonprofit introduced me to the idea. I spent about 5 years in various Project Coordinator roles when I wanted to get certified. I started studying for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification when someone told me I likely already qualified for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute(PMI). So. Many. Acronyms.
After probably two years of procrastination, I finally buckled down early during the pandemic, studied for the PMP, and passed on the first try! I'm so grateful for the PMP and the education layered on top of my real-world experience. My hope through this small business is to give you a blend of both worlds. Project management with a dose of reality because those of us in the industry know the book only gets you so far!
On this site, you'll get a variety of detailed templates targeting different levels of project management and organization.
I'm so excited to put what's been in my head on digital paper and share it with you!
Please stay awhile, click around, and feel free to get organized while here!
xo, Katherine
